How to Brew Turmeric

Earthy, slightly bitter, and warmly aromatic, with the vivid yellow-orange color characteristic of the fresh and dried rhizome.

Native to and predominantly grown in India.

Here is how to brew Turmeric for a clean, full-flavoured cup. One ingredient. Nothing added.

How to Brew Turmeric

  1. Measure 2g of Turmeric into your cup or teapot per 250 ml of water.
  2. Heat fresh, filtered water to 95-100 C.
  3. Add the Turmeric to the water, bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve hot as tea, add honey to taste.
  5. It re-brews 2-3x, so you can steep a second cup from the same Turmeric.
