This tea brews into a great tasting golden amber cup with a full-bodied rich taste and aroma. A sip reveals hints of cocoa, pepper and a faint touch of honey.
The full body and perfect balance are a result of the climate in which it grows, high on the misty Yunnan mountains of China.
Yunnan black tea is one of the best loved black teas in China, and rightly so. Ours is produced by a traditional artisan farm located close to the Dianxi Longitudinal valley, organically grown and hand-picked at altitude.
Take it as whole loose leaf, or as silky pyramid bags filled with the same whole-leaf Dian Hong tips, which unfurl fully in your cup for one clean bag per serving with no mess and no strainer. Steep in freshly boiled water at 95 to 100 C for three to five minutes per 200 ml cup.
Either way this tea is easy to brew, as it refuses to become bitter no matter how long you steep it, giving a perfectly balanced cup. Packaged on the farm and delivered straight to your door for maximum freshness.
