How to Brew Yarrow

A bright, slightly bitter, herbaceous cup with a hint of astringency.

Here is how to brew Yarrow for a clean, full-flavoured cup. One ingredient. Nothing added.

How to Brew Yarrow

  1. Measure 2g of Yarrow into your cup or teapot per 250 ml of water.
  2. Heat fresh, filtered water to 100 C.
  3. Pour the water over the Yarrow and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve strain and enjoy, hot or iced.

Tips

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, tightly sealed after opening.
  • Iced: Brew at double strength, then pour over ice for a cold Yarrow.
  • In the kitchen: Both leaf and flower are used together in infusions for a fuller flavor.
